David Hartnett: remission of 10 million pounds interest of Goldman Sachs was a mistake

British tax office made a mistake has agreed to simplify the ? 10 million interest on unpaid taxes at investment bank Goldman Sachs, acknowledged David Hartnett, quoted by Bloomberg.
“I am fully responsible for this mistake,” said the head of the NRA in Britain before the parliamentary committee in London today.
Commission is investigating his role in the agreement between the Agency and U.S. Bank signed last December.
Under the deal Goldman Sachs pay taxes due on bonuses to their employees English in exchange for forgiveness of interest thereon.
The Bank has avoided payment as a special company created in the British Virgin Islands, to which has led the staff reveals Guardian.
David Hartnett said that he and his colleagues have resorted to special agreement to resolve complex relationship with the bank.
Jesse Norman, Conservative MP, called for the resignation of Hartnett.
